1. Booking & Deposits
1.1 Party dates are allocated on a strictly first-come, first-served basis.
1.2 A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
1.3 Party dates cannot be held or confirmed without receipt of the deposit.
1.4 A booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been received and written confirmation has been issued by Magical Makeovers Parties.
1.5 The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days prior to the event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking.
2. Payments
2.1 Payments may be made via bank transfer or other agreed method.
2.2 All payments must be cleared funds.
2.3 Late payments may result in cancellation of services.
3. Cancellations by the Client
3.1 Deposits are non-refundable.
3.2 If cancellation occurs more than 14 days before the event, any payments made beyond the deposit may be refunded at our discretion.
3.3 If cancellation occurs within 14 days of the event, the full balance may still be payable due to loss of booking opportunity and preparation costs.
3.4 In exceptional circumstances, we may offer to transfer your booking to an alternative date subject to availability.
4. Cancellations by Magical Makeovers Parties
4.1 In the unlikely event we need to cancel due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, a full refund (including deposit) will be provided.
4.2 Liability is limited strictly to the total amount paid.
5. Venue & Safety
5.1 The client is responsible for ensuring the venue is safe, clean, and suitable for the party activities.
5.2 Adequate space must be provided for equipment, tables, décor, and guest movement.
5.3 A responsible adult must remain present at all times during the party.
5.4 We reserve the right to refuse or stop services if safety concerns arise.
6. Guest Numbers
6.1 Package pricing includes a specified number of guests.
6.2 Additional guests must be confirmed in advance and will be charged at the agreed per-head rate.
6.3 We must be informed of final guest numbers at least 7 days before the event.
7. Allergies & Skin Sensitivities
7.1 The client must inform us in advance of any allergies, skin sensitivities, or medical conditions.
7.2 We use child-friendly cosmetic products; however, Magical Makeovers Parties accepts no liability for allergic reactions.
7.3 Patch testing is recommended for guests with known sensitivities.
8. Behaviour & Conduct
8.1 We reserve the right to end services early if behaviour is unsafe, inappropriate, or abusive.
8.2 No refund will be provided in such circumstances.
9. Photography & Marketing
9.1 From time to time, photographs may be taken for promotional purposes.
9.2 No images will be used without prior consent from the parent or guardian.
9.3 If you do not wish photographs to be taken, please notify us in writing prior to the event.
10. Damage to Equipment
10.1 The client is responsible for any damage caused to our equipment by guests due to misuse or negligence.
10.2 Costs for repair or replacement may be charged accordingly.
11. Travel & Location
11.1 Package pricing may vary depending on location.
11.2 Travel fees may apply outside our standard service area and will be agreed in advance.
12. Force Majeure
Magical Makeovers Parties shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control including but not limited to severe weather, government restrictions, illness, or emergencies.
13. Liability
Our liability shall be limited to the total amount paid for the booking. We accept no liability for indirect or consequential loss.
14. Agreement
By paying the deposit, the client confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
Magical Makeovers Parties reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
